Seek Missional Evangelism study begins June 6

Join us for Seek Missional Evangelism: Are Evangelicals to Pursue Social Justice?, a six session Bible study for adults that explores the serious and complex problems of poverty, addiction, and homelessness. Passion alone won’t solve them. We need effective strategies for meeting human needs. New Fall Studies and Classes

Our Men's Bible Study will begin on Wednesday, September 27, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  in Room 11 on the lower level.  They will meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, and will begin their year with a study of the Book of Ephesians.  See study leader Tim Ferral for more information. The EPC's General Assembly begins June 21, and runs through June 25.  If you are interested in learning about the business at hand, and following the proceedings, click here so you can download the commissioner's manual and watch the live stream.  (Note: there will be certain times when the live stream will be turned off, do to security issues.) If you are on Twitter, you can follow the proceedings using the hashtag #epc2016ga. Please pray for all the commissioners, and the commissioners representing Christ Alone Church, as they consider the important issues facing our denomination.

Leadership Development Course begins October 18

From Pastor Ted's newsletter this week: [On October 18], we start the course that equips individuals for leadership within Christ Alone Church.  It’s rigorous, and it’s based on the Evangelical Presbyterian Church’s curriculum:Leadership Development Course.  We meet fifteen times, for an hour-and-a-half at each session.  Our first class will begin at 1 o’clock, on Sunday afternoon, October 18.  (The Packers game against San Diego doesn’t begin until 3:25 p.m.) All members of the church are invited to participate because this course not only equips church officers (i.e., elders) but it also equips Sunday School teachers, small group leaders, etc.  I’ve...
